This is the first monograph on the awardwinning Istanbul-based architecture and design firm Zoom TPU.
Covering two decades of work in the field of architecture and interior design, this volume features approximately 36 projects completed between 1994 and 2015. Ranging from hospitals to private houses, retail spaces to corporate offices, Zoom / TPO’s projects are renowned for their elegant, sophisticated designs that combine the latest technology with an inviting ambience. Their projects include a residence in Antalya, Turkey, nominated for the 2001 Aga Khan Award for Architecture; the auditorium of the ambitious SALT Galata project in Istanbul; and their LIV Ulus Hospital, also in Istanbul, a finalist in the 2011 World Architecture Festival Awards.
Philip Jodidio has published numerous books on the Aga Khan, and on architecture and art. They include Architecture: Art, Architecture: Nature and Under the Eaves of Architecture (all published by Prestel). He lives in Lausanne, Switzerland.
